Floriole started out as a French-pastry stand at the Green City Market. Now a brick-and-mortar store with pastries, breads, sandwiches, and salads, Tentori comes here for “the best canelé and croissants in the city.” Tip: Friday is pizza night with beer, wine, snacks, antipasti, pizzas, and desserts. 1220 W. “I love what Curtis Duffy does with the entire experience,” says Tentori about this elegant, fine-dining restaurant, which serves two 8-12 course tasting menus: one highlights vegetables and the other, meat and seafood. Cheese, swine, and wine; this gastropub serves everything from loads of pork dishes, to house-made charcuterie and veal mortadella sausage, to roasted bone marrow.
