1 - The Wreathing of The Art Institute Lions

From the lighting of the Hancock building Christmas tree to the arrival of lights along State Street, Michigan Avenue and Lakeshore Drive, signs of the holiday season in Chicago are popping up everywhere. However, the wreathing of the lions that hold court on the steps of The Art Institute is among our most favorite and familiar holiday traditions. The lions were officially wreathed during a ceremony last Friday and will remain on display throughout the season. 111 S. Michigan Ave.
