Initially conceived in 2015, the Elton John Music is Love for LALIQUE collection combines the creative expertise of both Elton John and LALIQUE’s master craftsmen to create one-of-a-kind crystal art pieces to be auctioned and sold with proceeds benefitting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

“There’s so much that needs to be done in order to achieve our vision of a world without AIDS,” said Elton John in a press release. “For me, this partnership with LALIQUE clearly demonstrates the company’s deep commitment to its role as a global corporate good citizen. I am beyond grateful to LALIQUE for helping us to raise funds that will move our vision forward and to carry our vision out into the world in the form of these beautiful crystal works of art.”

This year, at the EJAF’s annual Academy Awards Viewing Party, the foundation and LALIQUE will debut their new one-of-a-kind Purple Heart Cire Perdue to be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting the foundation’s lifesaving work. In 2016, the collection raised $410,000 at the annual party auction, and other pieces including the crystal angel, the red crystal heart, and the clear crystal heart are currently available for purchase at LALIQUE boutiques and select retailers with a portion of the profits going to the EJAF.
