There are multiple ways to customize your luxury footwear.
Prada's new custom shoes come in an array of colors.
Prada can put your initials on the soles of your personalized shoes.
A new shoe line from Prada lets customers play fashion designer with an array of materials, heel heights, colors, and more.
Luxury gets kicked up a notch with a new made-to-order experience that brings bespoke Prada footwear creations—once just a distant fantasy—into being. As part of the label’s Made To Order Décolleté collection, the customer is able to select the style (pumps or peep-toes, with or without platforms), one of five different heel heights, the material (suede, satin, kid, patent, or Saffiano-leather printed patent), and one of a dazzling array of colors.
Customization goes all the way down to the soles, which come in black, lily of the valley, and light blue hues. To truly signify ownership, the customer’s initials are embossed in tiny metal letters alongside the Prada logo. But the true once-in-a-lifetime detail comes in the shoes’ packaging, which is designed to match their exact shade. The service will be available in Chicago from June 2 through 8. 30 E. Oak St., 312-951-1113
