Last month, executive chef Trevor Hoyte and the culinary team at W City Center’s IPO launched the restaurant’s new weekend brunch. With an emphasis on breakfast dishes, the meal is available earlier than most brunches (from 7-11:30 a.m.), but nonetheless, embodies Hoyte’s signature contemporary American cuisine.

First and foremost, the menu includes a.m. favorites: eggs benedict, French toast, and a slew of savory sides. But unique twists on the usuals abound, too. The pesto egg white breakfast burrito is a delicious mix of flavors with feta cheese, wild mushrooms, roasted red peppers, onions, and pesto aioli, wrapped in a whole-wheat tortilla. Hoyte’s take on the ubiquitous chicken and waffles replaces the waffle with a buttermilk jalapeno cheddar biscuit and slathers it with bone marrow maple butter. If it’s lunch you crave, IPO features a few mouth-watering options. Try the Cubano sandwich, with Black Forest ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, and pickles. And whatever you order, a side of truffle French fries is a must.

Though the restaurant doesn’t offer a devoted cocktail menu for its brunch, there are plenty of options from the established list that can complement a morning meal. Our pick is the basic Champagne cocktail: a peach bitters-soaked sugar cube dropped in a glass of bubbly with a twist of lemon.
