How is Wow Bao putting a unique spin on its burger month special, and what does Found's new happy hour special entail? That and more in this week's dining news....
In honor of National Burger Month, this casual, bao-focused favorite is serving its creative take on the American classic: a "burger bao." The burger/bao hybrid showcases black angus beef, mild cheddar, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard nestled within a traditional bao. Enjoy it at all Wow Bao locations throughout May. Throw on your best rocker-chic attire (the more leather, the better!) and head to Oyster Bah's Low Tide Lounge for a rock music-themed dinner on May 25. The one-night-only event ($60 per person) kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and features five courses of seasonal, rock-inspired eats named after some of the genre's most iconic bands, like Nirvana (raw, smoked, and fried oyster trio with cucumber mignonette, cranberry, and pesto) and the Rolling Stones (surf and turf hot rock with filet, tuna, and Asian salad). Each course is paired with cocktails served on the rocks. 1962 N. Halsted St., 773-248-3000
