Sunda adds a special pig roast to its offerings for Father's Day.
Sunda New Asian
10:30 AM–3 PM
Sunda’s inventive East-meets-West brunch fare—everything from Asian-inspired kimchi fried rice with pork belly, scallions, garlic, and an egg; to the more western ginger mango granola—is amplified with a Dad’s Day special. A roasted pig, served with bao buns and various sauces, is sure to be a father-favorite. Sunda is doing dinner, too (5–11 PM), with dad-themed specials like It’s a Guy Thing prime rib and a Sugar Daddy ice cream sundae. 110 W. Illinois St., 312-644-0500

This Melman spot doesn’t typically serve brunch, but it's making an exception for dads. Specialty cocktails and a surprise smattering of brunch fare and cocktails will be available, in addition to the regular RPM menu. And when it’s this well done, why not enjoy pizza for breakfast: the cremini mushroom and fontina cheese pizzette is our pick. Of course, mama DePandi’s bucatini pomodoro is the real draw, derived from a recipe of co-owner Giuliana Rancic’s Italian mother. 52 W. Illinois St., 312-222-1888

For something a little less formal, Lincoln Park’s RJ Grunts’ sets the scene for a family-friendly brunch. To honor the holiday, RJ’s is offering an all-you-can-eat weekend brunch for dads with big appetites. Of note? Mini Belgian waffles, pecan bread pudding French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and chicken sausage—all the hearty favorites with none of the at-home prep. 2056 N. Lincoln Park West, 773-929-5363
