Michigan Avenue Feed Your Senses Event

On February 18, 2019, Michigan Avenue celebrated its first issue of the new year by taking attendees on a culinary adventure featuring cuisine from around the world. Seven Chicago restaurants created a dish inspired by a Celebrity Cruises destination: Eli's Cheesecake served Belgian chocolate cheesecake bites; Italian steakhouse Gene & Georgetti presented sausage alla Joe; Heritage Restaurant conjured Ireland with smoked trout belly; Japanese robata bar Katana served tuna poke in a sesame waffle cone; Mable's Table plated Spanish beef tenderloin sliders; French-inspired Taureaux Tavern dished lobster thermidor bites; and Untitled Supper Club served Austrian-inspired braised beef cheek with crispy rosti potatoes. Patrons enjoyed handcrafted cocktails by Southern Glazer Wine and Spirits mixologist Daniel de Oliveira, Crafter's Union wine, House Wine Co. bubbles and Peroni beer. DJ Dopekatz provided music for the night and contortionist Dahlia Fatale put on a mesmerizing performance. Attendees commemorated the night in the Alexa Selfie Booth.
