First Bites Bash 2019

More than 2,100 Windy City gourmands ushered in Choose Chicago’s 12th annual Chicago Restaurant Week with a decadent bash at the Field Museum. Throughout the tantalizing evening— headlined by host chef Joe Flamm of Spiaggia and Café Spiaggia and host mixologist Jarmel Doss of The Aviary—guests posed for the Celebrity Cruises-branded photo booth and indulged in offerings from 70-plus hot spots, including red crab and endive caesar from Margeaux Brasserie and grilled lobster quesadilla courtesy of Barrio. The kickoff event raised $10,000 for the night’s beneficiary, food education nonprofit Pilot Light.
