Carolyn Leopard Jacket, Two Penny Blue ($445). 3738 Southport Ave., 866-207-1272
Marie Whitney, the founder and creative force behind Lakeview’s Two Penny Blue, points to the Carolyn Leopard jacket (inspired by Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy) as a perfect spring topper. “Leopard print is a modern neutral that elevates every outfit,” she says. “This is a gorgeous take on the iconic leopard jacket.”
Confetti-Embellished Cocktail Dress, White/Black, Pamella Roland ($3,990). Neiman Marcus, 737 N. Michigan Ave. 312-642-5900
Chicago designer Pamella Roland is all about her confetti sequin ombre dress for this spring. “For me, a chic white cocktail dress is something that never goes out of style, especially when it comes to this LWD (Little White Dress),” she says. “Our modern take on this classic trend includes the use of sequins to create a gradient, and the ombre effect toward the waistline draws it in for a slimmer look.”
Cheryl Santucci, Director of Beauty and Esthetics at Mario Tricoci
Daily Anti-Aging Moisturizer, MD Solar Sciences ($68). Mario Tricoci, 900 N. Michigan Ave., 847-202-1900
Mario Tricoci’s Director of Beauty and Esthetics is focusing on protection when it comes to her must-have spring beauty product. “A good sunscreen is the key to anti-aging beauty,” she says. “Defy your age by getting the daily protection and continuous time-released hydration you need from MD Solar Sciences Daily Anti-Aging Moisturizer.”
Cashmere and Silk Bright Blue Blazer, Oxxford Clothes (Price based on custom order). 1220 W. Van Buren, 312-829-3600
Oxxford Clothes’ Midwest Sales Director, Julian Delos Reyes, plans to spend much of spring in his bespoke cashmere and silk blazer, which can be made through the Oxxford Showroom. “One item that I know I will be using quite a bit is my unstructured cashmere and silk bright blue blazer,” he says. “Whether I am traveling for work, seeing clients in the office, or going out in the city, this blazer will make sure I look my best, while being comfortable. The bright blue gives an updated spring look to my traditional navy blazer and since it’s unstructured, it gives me an almost shirt-like feel.”
Jennifer Nolden, Coolsculpting Specialist and Head of Business Development at SOLUX Med Spa
Jennifer says she’s “obsessed” with these embroidered, floral sneakers and wears them with everything. “When I walk into a room wearing these sneakers, the conversation changes,” she says. “Everyone loves them. It’s so refreshing that a women’s sneaker can be the most fashionable shoe in a room!”
Nappa Leather Soft Ricky, Ralph Lauren ($2,500). 750 N. Michigan Ave., 312-280-1655
Janet Owen, the top real estate producer in Chicago for the last 20 years, considers her Ralph Lauren bag a must-have while at home and traveling. “My go-to bag for spring is Ralph Lauren’s iconic Ricky bag,” she says. “It is a bit of a splurge but I consider it an investment piece because it holds my iPad, files, and everyday essentials. [It’s] a bag and a briefcase, perfect for travel, and always looks great!”
Kelly Golden, owner of luxury Winnetka boutique, Neapolitan, loves this long, striped top for the warmer weather. “This look exemplifies the unique structures and updated femininity for Spring 2017, and is by one of my favorite designers for the season, Monse,” she says.
