"Color Blind: The MCA Collection in Black and White"
Through the weekend (museum hours: 10 AM-5 PM)
Take in a little art this weekend with the Museum of Contemporary Art’s latest addition, “Color Blind.” The exhibit, which opened November 10, examines pieces from the MCA rendered in black-and-white or monochromatic color schemes. The seemingly simple form makes viewers look at the very foundation of art. The color scheme also evokes conversations of race, politics, and history (the exhibit’s opening around last week’s presidential elections is not accidental). Through April 28, 2013. 220 E. Chicago Ave., 312-280-2660

At the Randolph Street Holiday Market, find great decorations for your home, and better yet, the perfect gifts for everyone on your shopping list. Free admission for shoppers who bring a toy item to be donated to Toys for Tots. 1340 W. Washington St.
