Brunch Plans: Oak Tree All-Day Menu

At Oak Tree, the only thing better than the wrap-around view of N. Michigan Ave. is the served-all-day breakfast. The resto, perched conveniently atop the 900 North Michigan Shops so you can scout out must-stop stores that aren't already on the five floors beneath you, offers an array of ways to fuel up for the day of shopping ahead.
Oak Tree’s breakfast menu is a curated selection of mainstays with a gourmet twist. The Baltic eggs Benedict supplements the usual Hollandaise sauce with house-cured salmon and salmon caviar, while the cinnamon sugar raisin French toast is served smothered in a vanilla bean sauce and alongside candied walnuts. If you tend more toward lunch options, skip right to the epicurean cheese sandwiches—the apple and brie boasts watercress, havarti and fig preserves, or try an updated ham and cheese sandwich via their ham and gruyère with arugula, mozzarella, and grilled onion.
There are no cocktails on offer, but they won’t be missed after sipping on one of the aptly-named 900 Coolers: raspberry-mint agua fresca, ginger lemonade, and cucumber-lime are just a few delicious options. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, but you won’t mind waiting a few minutes in the oh-so-aromatic bakery area, where you can sample some of the fresh-baked artisan breads or the day’s danishes. 900 N.
