The hotel itself, designed by Steve Smith of the award-winning Lawrence Group, is as much of a work of art as its surroundings featuring themed rooms (fine art, performing arts, architecture, music) that reflect the vibe of the city. Works from local artists, including pieces from Saint Louis University, adorn the walls. “It’s a pleasure to be able to bring a hotel this unique to St. Louis,” says general manager John Dalton. “It’s an extremely well-designed, contemporary art building with an urban edge. It complements the area and is part of an exciting emergence for the art district.”
