“Picasso Not in America” Lecture
Thursday, Febraury 21, 6-7 p.m.
The New Yorker’s Adam Gopnik comes to the Art Institute’s Rubloff Auditorium for a riveting lecture on the work of Pablo Picasso. The event coincides with the opening of an exhibit of the famed artist’s pieces titled “Picasso and Chicago.” Free with museum admission, but arrive early as seats are first-come, first-served. 111 S. Support the arts while sampling the best “outsider” beers from Revolution Brewing, Koval Distillery, and others. Intuit, the Wicker Park-based center for intuitive and outsider art, hosts the event, so guests can browse the latest exhibitions while sipping their brews.
