The legendary actor and environmental advocate introduced a never-before-seen video, which highlights Conservation International’s initiatives, and—on behalf of the organization—accepted a $5,000 donation from Ball Park brand to continue innovative research for environmental protection.

The Smash star wowed the audience with hits like “Night of Your Life,” “I’m Every Woman,” and “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from her Oscar-winning portrayal of Effie White in Dreamgirls. The Voice finalist Jamar Rogers helped kick off the evening with an exclusive debut performance of his new single, “High.”

Michigan Avenue celebrated its fourth anniversary and singled out September cover girl Jenny McCarthy with a speakeasy soirée at Untitled in River North. More than 300 guests mixed and mingled with libations by Cîroc Ultra-Premium Vodka and La Marca Prosecco. McCarthy enjoyed a lemon drop martini and toasted to cocktail-filled nights ahead.

To celebrate his April cover of Michigan Avenue, Mayor Rahm Emanuel dropped by the James C. Tyree Auditorium at Mesirow Financial on May 10. Richard Price, chairman and CEO of Mesirow Financial, was in attendance, along with other Chicago notables. Partygoers indulged in treats from famed Chicago eatery Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse and sipped Victoria beer and Belvedere cocktails. The Mayor took the night off from politics as usual to mingle with guests, pose for pictures, and enjoy the celebration.

The ultra-chic Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel played host to the soiree, setting the mood with its fashionable, contemporary décor and subtle luminescence. The guest of honor carried herself with uncommon grace and humility, greeting partygoers and taking the time to address her throngs of admirers before returning to the merry festivities.

Chicago's beloved adopted daughter Giuliana Rancic returned to the Windy City to celebrate her second appearance on the cover of Michigan Avenue. With a few of her close friends in attendance, the E! News host sat down to a lovely, private brunch at Allium restaurant in the Four Seasons. The ever-elegant luminary awed guests with a heartfelt and uplifting speech recounting her heroic battle with breast cancer. While her E! News duties force Giuliana to remain based out of Los Angeles, the radiant star will surely become a more familiar face around Chicago with the recent opening of her and husband Bill Rancic's River North eatery, RPM Italian.
