The International Home and Housewares Show returns to McCormick Place for a four-day expo of innovative technologies and revolutionary design for the home. The show is the largest housewares expo in the world with more than 60,000 vendors and professionals. Through March 5.

Get a first look at the Art Institute of Chicago’s latest exhibit during the gala opening for “They Seek a City: Chicago and the Art of Migration, 1910-1950.” Proceeds from the event, which includes a cocktail reception at the Modern Wing’s Terzo Piano restaurant, followed by dinner and dancing reminiscent of the migration era, benefit the Leadership Advisory Committee.
